After low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Citrus brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Seffner Christian Crusaders 38-7. The Hurricanes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 20 points or more this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Citrus' defense and their five sacks. Kirsten Sanders was especially locked on to Seffner Christian's QB and sacked her four times. Cheyenne Jahnke got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Citrus' win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Seffner Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Citrus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Weeki Wachee on the 8th. As for Seffner Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 27-7 victory against Carrollwood Day on the 8th.
