Samuel Meisner Tops All Others This Week

Starting off the list is Wray's Samuel Meisner, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Meisner made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended a pass. He didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended a pass.

Jonathan Thomson's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 114+ rushing yards. He rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making 12 total tackles.

The defeat snapped Yuma's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record. Thomson and Yuma will challenge Wiggins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Weston Schaal Turns in Season-Best Performance

Burlington was led to victory by Weston Schaal, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Schaal rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 53 yards and a touchdown on only five passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

For the season, Schaal has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 64.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging one rushing yard per game. This year he is averaging 20.8 rushing yards.

Jacob Jaklich and Co. Win 18th in a Row

Jacob Jaklich was instrumental in extending Limon's winning streak to 18 on Friday. Nobody could stop Jaklich as he rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Limon's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Jaklich and Limon will stay at home for another week and welcome Holyoke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
