Kingswood has won 14 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Oyster River has won 14 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Knights will welcome the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. Kingswood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.
Kingswood let Sanborn Regional stack four runs on them in the sixth inning on Monday but luckily Kingswood prevailed anyway. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Indians. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Avery G was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rheegan S, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kingswood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Oyster River got the win against Souhegan on Tuesday by a conclusive 14-2. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by nine runs or more this season.
Teagan Nadeau spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up six Ks. Those six strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Oyster River got a massive performance out of Aliza Parks, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was Parks' first of the season. Payton Drapeau was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Kingswood's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Oyster River, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1-1.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Kingswood hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .389. However, it's not like Oyster River struggles in that department as they've averaged .355. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Kingswood might still be hurting after the 18-5 defeat they got from Oyster River in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Knights have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
