Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Azusa). Everything went their way against the San Gabriel Matadors on Tuesday as the Azusa Aztecs made off with a 15-5 victory. The win continues a trend for the Aztecs in their matchups with the Matadors: they've now won five in a row.

Azusa's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.7 runs. As for San Gabriel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Azusa will venture away from home to take on South Pasadena at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Gabriel, they will welcome Gabrielino at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
