Baseball Recap: Springville Tigers vs. Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springville). They were the clear victor by a 10-1 margin over the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils on Saturday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Kade Willis made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
