Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plaquemine). Everything went their way against the Scotlandville Hornets on Thursday as the Plaquemine Green Devils made off with a 20-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Green Devils considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Plaquemine's victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plaquemine will square off against West Feliciana at 4:30 p.m. on March 6th. As for Scotlandville, they will face off against False River at 4:00 p.m. on March 6th. False River has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16 runs per game on average), something Scotlandville will no doubt try to take advantage of.
