On Saturday, Nikiski beat Non Varsity Opponent 26-16.
Among those leading the charge was Kailey Stynsberg, who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Nikiski now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 45-87.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nikiski will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Seward at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Non Varsity Opponent will be home for the holidays to greet Athens Christian Preparatory Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Athens Christian Preparatory Academy's defense has only allowed 29.9 points per game this season, so Non Varsity Opponent's offense will have their work cut out for Non Varsity Opponent.
