Softball Recap: Port Aransas Comes Up Short

Port Aransas fell victim to Skidmore-Tynan and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats, falling 16-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Marlins were not able to get on the board.

Port Aransas has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. The victory was the third in a row for Skidmore-Tynan, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Aransas will take on Kenedy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
