Softball Recap: Monument Valley Comes Up Short

Monument Valley lost to Holbrook back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 19-15 to the Roadrunners.

Kiarra Bahe led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Meya-Raye Bahe, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI.

Monument Valley's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Holbrook, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-15 record.

Coming up, Monument Valley will be playing at home against Tuba City at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.84 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Holbrook, they will face off against Snowflake at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
