Baseball Recap: Malad Comes Up Short

After flying high against Snake River last Wednesday, Malad came back down to earth. Malad fell 5-1 to the Century Diamondbacks on Monday.

Carter Carey was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Malad's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Century, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Malad has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Snake River on the 21st. As for Century, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-4 loss against Kuna on the 20th.
