Basketball Recap: Garnet Valley Starts Season with Loss at Home

Garnet Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Penn Wood Patriots by a score of 60-58 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Jaguars have suffered since January 23rd.

The win made it two in a row for Penn Wood and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Garnet Valley will face off against Unionville at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Penn Wood, they will venture away from home to face off against Freire Charter School Wilmington at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
