Softball Recap: Owensboro Catholic Aces vs. Apollo Eagles
After losing to Apollo the last time they met, Owensboro Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Aces walked away with an 11-6 win over the Eagles on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aces.
Lily Medley looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Anna Beth Hamilton, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Raegan Leach also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
