Football Recap: Rotan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 33 points the game before, Rotan was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They had to suffer through a 50-7 loss at the hands of the Aspermont Hornets. If the Yellowhammers were looking for revenge after losing 56-6 to the Hornets when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Rotan and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Aspermont, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Rotan and Aspermont will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Yellowhammers will take on rival Westbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Aspermont is set to challenge their familiar foe Rule at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
