The Worth County Tigers had to endure a 16-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 43-31 victory over North Harrison on Monday. That 12 point margin sets a new team best for Worth County this season.
Kynah Steele continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 20 points, ten rebounds, and ten blocks. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kristen Tracy, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Worth County's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-15. As for North Harrison, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
