The Bath County Chargers will venture away from home to face off against the Pocahontas County Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bath County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Bath County came up short against Highland and fell 13-8. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bath County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was I Ingram, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another was W Campbell, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Pocahontas County lost 15-4 to Tygarts Valley on Monday.

Logan Keatley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Pocahontas County's loss dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Bath County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Bath County might still be hurting after the 19-2 loss they got from Pocahontas County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Chargers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
