Softball Recap: Spencer Takes a Loss

Spencer lost against Pittsville on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockets might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to the Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spencer saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexa Weber, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Spencer now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pittsville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Coming up, Spencer will challenge Auburndale at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pittsville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Iola-Scandinavia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
