Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 18-5 to the Lawton Wolverines. On the bright side, the five- run effort marked the Spartans' highest-scoring match to date.

Southeast saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xzavier Aguilar, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Abraham Varela also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Lawton, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-20.

While Southeast had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
