            Basketball Recap: North Forest Bulldogs vs. Worthing Colts        
        
		
        
        
            North Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They were beaten by the Worthing Colts 86-59. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 1235th, while the Colts are ranked 508th).
  Courtland Sloan was  his usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 27  points and ten  rebounds for Worthing. The  game was  Sloan's 15th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Boston Greenwood, who  posted 16 points.
North Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Worthing, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record  this season.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Yates the next time they take the court. North Forest will head out to face Yates at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while Worthing will head out to face them  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
