Recap: Fort Osage Indians vs. Grandview Bulldogs
The Fort Osage Indians were the 53-47 winner over the Grandview Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Fort Osage fell just short of Grandview by a score of 36-33.
It was another big night for Jada Smith, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds for Grandview. That makes it three consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least 25% of Grandview's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sh?ryah Wright, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Fort Osage's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Grandview, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3.
Fort Osage will challenge Excelsior Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Grandview will take on Lawrence in a holiday battle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday at.
