Fauquier is a perfect 3-0 against Warren County since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Falcons will take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Warren County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fauquier, who comes in off a win.

Fauquier will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Meridian on Friday. The Falcons never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Falcons have beaten the Mustangs the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mustangs has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Warren County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Meridian. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Warren County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Lamendola, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Lamendola has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Warren County's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Fauquier, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Fauquier took their win against Warren County when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
