The home team had come away the winner the last four times North Allegheny and Pine-Richland had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Rams 2-1. Given North Allegheny's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Pine-Richland are ranked 192nd) , the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Emmett Morris was the driving force of North Allegheny's attack as he scored both of North Allegheny's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

North Allegheny's win bumped their record up to 8-3-2. As for Pine-Richland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-2 record this season.
