Wesley Yarbrough Goes Supernova in Crosby Victory
Starting off the list is Crosby's Wesley Yarbrough, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Yarbrough rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 138 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Yarbrough and Crosby will take on La Porte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Yarbrough up against the Bulldogs' star running back Sean Simon. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Big Game from Barnes As La Porte Won 41-20
La Porte picked up their fourth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Tyresse Barnes. Barnes did his part (and then some), rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries for the 'W'.
Porter's probably not too fond of Barnes given he always seems to get the better of them. When Barnes last faced the Spartans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 180 yards while picking up 10.0 yards per carry.

Wyatt Neyland Delivers Best Effort of Season
Angleton was led to victory by Wyatt Neyland, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Neyland rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also caught a touchdown.
The win for Angleton keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats faces off against Fort Bend Kempner at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Zechariah Jammer and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Angleton picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Zechariah Jammer. Nobody could stop Jammer as he rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
For the season, Jammer has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 51.4 rushing yards per game.

Lott Robison Turns in Season-Best Performance
Lott Robison produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Crosby to the win on Friday. Robison threw for 97 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Robison and Crosby will head out on the road to challenge La Porte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Robison will face off against Tyron "Tj" Coleman Jr., the Bulldogs' star signal caller. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
