Amarillo gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They claimed a resounding 55-12 victory over the Odessa Bronchos. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Amarillo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jude Dunavin, who rushed for 153 yards and three scores on only ten carries. Jett Lopez was another key passer, throwing for 308 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per attempt.
