Soccer Recap: Palmer Takes Down Ranked Grace Christian

Palmer faced Grace Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Moose's defense stepped up to hand the Grizzlies a 2-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Palmer were the better team in the second half.

Lila Petitt and Kaylee Gallego scored both of Palmer's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Palmer's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those five contests. As for Grace Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7-2.
