Baseball Game Preview: Kenston Bombers vs. St. Edward Eagles

The Kenston Bombers will square off against the St. Edward Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenston has given up an average of 7.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kenston is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Twinsburg on Monday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 15-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Bombers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Kenston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Artale, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Another was Graysen Bischof, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Edward, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against St. Vincent-St. Mary by a score of 7-2 on Thursday.

Langston Lucas was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Kenston's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for St. Edward, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
