Basketball Recap: Guntersville's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

It was a proper cat-fight when Guntersville faced off against Grissom on Thursday. The Guntersville Wildcats fell 59-47 to the Grissom Tigers. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 68-65.

Guntersville's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-9. As for Grissom, the win snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 9-17 record.

Guntersville will take on Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Guntersville is facing Fairview at the right time seeing as Fairview is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Grissom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
