Manistee blew Montague out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Montague got their revenge. The Mariners fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 24-22. The Mariners' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Manistee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Montague, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4.
