Globe kept up with Santa Cruz Valley until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Dust Devils put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 34-14 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dust Devils.

Daniel Contreras had an outrageously good game as he picked up 168 receiving yards and three scores, and also rushed for 49 yards. Those 168 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Santa Cruz Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 352 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Globe only rushed for 94 rushing yards.
