Softball Recap: Hampshire Regional's Undefeated Season over After 14 Games

Hampshire Regional lost against Wachusett Regional back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders fell 6-2 to the Mountaineers. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Ryanne Dubay1 spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Hampshire Regional saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalin Dubay4, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hampshire Regional fell to 13-1. As for Wachusett Regional, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.
