Softball Recap: Pontotoc Warriors vs. Florence Eagles
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pontotoc walked away with it. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Florence Eagles on Thursday. Nine seems to be a good number for the Warriors as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Mattie Sims Koon looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
