Football Recap: Owen Warhorses vs. Madison Patriots
Owen was the 35-21 winner over Madison when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Owen Warhorses and the Madison Patriots were almost perfectly matched up on Saturday, but the Owen Warhorses suffered a 34-33 loss.
Several Warhorses players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Stephen Anderson, who rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Anderson also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles.
