Spotswood had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Waynesboro Little Giants. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trailblazers have posted since May 16, 2024.

Ty Howard looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Andrew O'Brian, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Blank, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Spotswood pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
