Soccer Recap: Warren Central Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Warren Central can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lawrence North Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Warren Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while Lawrence North are ranked 28th).

Warren Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Lawrence North, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5-3.

Warren Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lawrence North, they will take on Cathedral at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cathedral will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lawrence North surely won't give up without a fight.
