Softball Recap: West Orange-Stark Takes a Loss

After soaring to 19 runs the game before, West Orange-Stark was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against the Deweyville Pirates, falling 21-1. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

West Orange-Stark saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Latessa Turner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

West Orange-Stark's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Deweyville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

West Orange-Stark wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-2 win against Port Arthur Memorial on the 20th. As for Deweyville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against Woodville on the 20th.
