 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Berkeley Prep had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They never let the Calvary Christian Warriors onto the board and left with  a   6-0  victory. Six seems to be a good number for Berkeley Prep as the  squad scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
 Not much got past  Ben O'Brien, who gave up just  four  hits to keep Calvary Christian off the board. O'Brien has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Joseph Troupe, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 On Calvary Christian's side,  William Eaton was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits.
 On the hitting side, Calvary Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Antwan Jackson, who  went 1-for-3 with a  double.
 Even though they lost, Calvary Christian  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with nine  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Berkeley Prep only tossed five.
 Berkeley Prep is  on a roll lately: they've  won 15 of their last 17 games,  which provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record  this season. As for Calvary Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 24-5.
 Berkeley Prep will challenge Bishop Verot at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Bishop Verot will roll in looking for their  ninth straight  victory, something Berkeley Prep surely won't give up without a fight. Calvary Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
