Burns is a perfect 10-0 against Grant Union since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hilanders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Prospectors at 6:30 p.m. Burns is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.

On Saturday, Burns got the win against McLoughlin by a conclusive 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-17, 25-6.

Among those leading the charge was Bailey Temple, who had 11 digs and two aces. Natalee Otley-Smith also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Burns was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Grant Union came up short against Irrigon on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Grant Union's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Burns, their win bumped their record up to 24-1.

Everything went Burns' way against Grant Union when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Burns made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Hilanders repeat their success, or do the Prospectors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
