On Tuesday Garrett Theile struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Theile has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one walk. This year, he has an ERA of 2.15 over 13 innings pitched.
