Football Recap: Salesian College Preparatory Pride vs. Ferndale Wildcats
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Salesian College Preparatory couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They had to suffer through a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Ferndale Wildcats. The Pride were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the four games prior), but the Wildcats' defense proved too tough.
Izeah Buchanan threw for 121 yards and one touchdown. Carlton Perrilliat Jr was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards.
Ferndale had a senior duo take command as Prescott Langer gained 92 total yards and Tanner Pidgeon rushed for 43 yards and one TD.
