Baseball Recap: Amador Valley Beats Dublin for Their Third Straight Win

Amador Valley waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Dublin Gaels by a score of 4-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 on Wednesday.

Elliot De La Torre spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kade Robertson, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Aidan Foley was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Amador Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in five consecutive contests.

Amador Valley's record is now 13-7. As for Dublin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-5.
