Lee's Summit West is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since August 29th on Friday. They were outmatched by Blue Springs South and fell 42-9. The Titans were down 42-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Park Hill South, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They strolled past Central with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-14. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Park Hill South's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Lee's Summit West, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
