Volleyball Recap: Los Fresnos Takes a Loss

Los Fresnos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Edinburg Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Los Fresnos' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Edinburg, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Los Fresnos is headed away from home for the first time to square off against McAllen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edinburg, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Rio Grande City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
