Volleyball Recap: Texas Lions HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Texas Lions HomeSchool's tournament run continued when they took on Grace Academy on Friday. The Lions fell just short of Grace Academy by a score of 2-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Texas Lions HomeSchool actually scored more points across those three sets (60-57), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Texas Lions HomeSchool now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Grace Academy, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Texas Lions HomeSchool will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Austin Classical at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Grace Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Texas Wind on Tuesday.
