Soccer Game Preview: Biglerville vs. Shippensburg

The Biglerville Canners will venture away from home to square off against the Shippensburg Greyhounds at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Biglerville's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Biglerville's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They beat Trinity by a goal, winning 1-0. Given Biglerville's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Trinity are ranked 500th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Shippensburg came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Indians 5-0. Shippensburg might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by four goals or more this season.

Biglerville's record is now 10-2. As for Shippensburg, their record now sits at 9-2.
