Homer won the last time they faced Hartington-Newcastle and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Homer was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-19, 25-18.

Chayce Abts paced Homer's offense, picking up 14 kills. Abts got some help from Madi Roeber and her 31 assists. Abts was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Homer now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hartington-Newcastle, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Homer has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Tri County Northeast on the 4th. After both having extra time off, Hartington-Newcastle and Randolph will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
