Basketball Recap: Cornersville Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Cornersville's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 47-38 victory over the Santa Fe Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-32 back in January.

Cornersville is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Santa Fe, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Fe will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Richland at 6:00 p.m. Richland will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Santa Fe surely won't give up without a fight.
