Waverly has gone a perfect 5-0 against Eastern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Quakers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses dating back to last season for Waverly and eight for Eastern dating back to last season.

Waverly lost 7-1 to East Lansing on Monday.

Williamston hit Eastern with a 13-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Quakers came up short against the Hornets, falling 15-0.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Waverly, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Waverly got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Eastern by a conclusive 18-2 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Quakers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
