Baseball Recap: Amite School Center Comes Up Short

Amite School Center was the 7-4 winner over Cathedral when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels fell 15-10 to the Green Wave on Thursday.

Dreher Van Norman made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and two doubles. Zane Minton was another key player, earning one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Amite School Center's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cathedral, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Amite School Center will venture away from home to challenge Brookhaven Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cathedral, they will take on Madison-Ridgeland Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
