Basketball Recap: Columbia Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Valor Christian on Tuesday, Columbia Christian came back down to earth. The Columbia Christian Knights took a hard 54-36 fall against the Gaston Greyhounds on Wednesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 36-15 back in January.

Columbia Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Gaston, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Columbia Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-27 loss against Portland Christian on the 31st. As for Gaston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-26 defeat against Faith Bible Christian/Life Christian on the 31st.
