Soccer Recap: Escambia Comes Up Short

Escambia managed to keep up with Milton until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Escambia Gators came up short against the Milton Panthers, falling 4-1. The loss continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Escambia's goal came courtesy of Jackson Perkins, who's now up to three this season.

Escambia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Milton, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-4-2.

Escambia has already played their next game, a 6-4 loss against Walton on the 12th. As for Milton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 victory against Pensacola Catholic on the 12th.
