Volleyball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Onalaska Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-13.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Onalaska, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trinity will challenge rival New Waverly at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Onalaska is set to square off against their familiar foe Coldspring-Oakhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
